Cochingco said the council has been endorsing to LGUs to solve the problems pertaining to street-children, particularly the Badjaos which, according to her, is common to majority of the cities in the country. PSupt. Cristita dela Cruz, Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Person of PNP-Caraga present to media the data on the region’s crime rate involving violence against women (VAW) during the first semester. According to her, crime rate in the first semester is less compared to first semester last year. Dela Cruz also said that PNP-Caraga obtained a hundred percent crime solution on VAW. Atty. Ruth Sanchez of the Office of the Regional State Prosecutor explains the mechanics in filing a case against the suspect. She also admitted that because of the less number of judges in Caraga, there are cases where it has been filed so long ago but until now, still, it was not resolved yet.
