DOH-CHD Caraga: Advocacy on Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health (FP/MCH) Program

Family Planning Program Coordinator Emmi Marie Cabahug of the Department of Health (DOH) Caraga Regional Office bares that based on the maternal mortality rate in the Philippines in 2003, 4,600 Filipina women die every year while over 100,000 suffer from pregnancy related to disabilities, and three babies are born every minute, held recently during the Advocacy on Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health (FP/MCH) Program in one of the local convention centers in Butuan City.
