128 school kids provided with educational supplies as part of corporate social initiative of JEWM Agro Industrial Corporation in Davao City. Now on its fourth year of doing the initiative at Felipe Calderon Elementary School in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, JEWM’s educational assistance aims to help poor elementary children gain access to quality basic education through the provision of school supplies. As member-company of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), JEWM Agro Industrial Corporation share in its mission of reducing poverty through educational programs it implements in target communities. Aside from school supplies, JEWM has also assisted the school by providing computers with printer, television set and CD player, among others; which is expected to enhance the learning competencies of student s enrolled in the school.
