Kapihan on YES FOR PEACE – Bayanihan para sa KKK (Kapayapaan, Kaunlaran at Kasaganahan) Campaign held in Butuan City

YES FOR PEACE Caraga regional coordinator Atty. Jose Guibone discloses during the 'Kapihan on YES FOR PEACE - Bayanihan para sa KKK' (Kapayapaan, Kaunlaran at Kasaganahan) Campaign held at the Teachers Development Center, Department of Education regional office in Butuan City on August 12 that in time with the International Human Rights Day, an inter-agency Memorandum of Undertaking (MOU) was entered into on December 10, 2002, to solicit no less than 10-million responses to the YES FOR PEACE – Bayanihan para sa Kapayapaan campaign from Filipinos, 10 years and older. Dr. Isidro Biol Jr., OIC-Chief of Curriculum, Learning and Management  Division of the Department of Education (DepEd) Caraga expresses during the Kapihan on YES FOR PEACE – Bayanihan para sa KKK (Kapayapaan, Kaunlaran at Kasaganahan) Campaign held at the Teachers Development Center, DepEd regional office in Butuan City on August 12 that their office have already disseminated advisories to all school divisions in the region and positive that they will able to come up with the targeted 10 million responses from the students. Engr. Ramil Sanchez of the Commission on Higher Education Caraga bares that as of July 31, 2014, there are 9,278,129 number of participating KaBayanihans and now reached 92.78% of the goal. Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga deputy regional director Fryan E. Abkilan acknowledges the participants of the Kapihan on YES FOR PEACE on August 12 at the Department of Education. He relays that the conduct of the Kapihan is PIA’s support to attain peace in the country. “PIA is serious in its thrusts to help concerned agencies to attain peace,” he said. (Gerie Mae G.
