regional epidemiologist Dr. Gerna M. Manatad during the Media Forum on Family
Planning and Breastfeeding in Butuan City on August 22 bares that their agency
has recorded a total of 23 deaths related to dengue cases for the period of
January 1 to August 16, 2014. As of August 16, DOH Caraga recorded a total of
4,569 dengue cases, 110 percent higher compared to last year of the same
