DOH Undersecretary Alexander Padilla promotes their program on Pregnancy and Oral Health Care with the theme: “Lakas ng dating, buo ang ngipin”/ “Your child’s oral health care starts with a healthy pregnancy”. Dr. Gerna Manatad of Department of Health (DOH) Caraga points out that the Influenza A H1N1 is a new virus causing illness in people. “This virus was first detected in people in April 2009 in the United States, and is spreading from person-to-person probably in much the same way that regular seasonal influenza viruses spread”, Dr. Manatad said.
