Training Workshop on the Protection of IDPs held at the Paradise Island Resort, Samal, Davao City


 
Atty. Cecilia Jimenez of the Norwegian Refugee Council-Internal Displacement Monitoring Center (NRC-IDMC) Senior Training and Legal Office bares that in 2011, there is 26.4 Internally Displaced Persons in the country as a result of armed conflict and generalized violence and at least 36 million people newly displaced by sudden-onset natural disasters, during the Training Workshop on the Protection of IDPs held recently at the Paradise Island Resort, Samal, Davao City.
