Members of the Caraga Regional Disaster Risk
Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC) discuss the Gawad KALASAG Search for
Excellence on DRRM and Humanitarian Assistance presided by Amado Posas (center with
black polo shirt) of the Office of Civil Defense during its RDRRMC-TWG meeting
held Tuesday, March 25 in Butuan City. According to Posas the Gawad KALASAG is
an endeavor to promote the spirit of volunteerism among agencies and
individuals in providing the much needed help during the response phase of
