Caraga region celebrates Arbor Day by planting

government agencies, academe, non-government organizations and from the private

(DENR) Caraga regional technical director Maritess M. Ocampo express her
grateful recognition and sincere appreciation to the participants of the Tree
Planting activity held at the Bood Promontory Eco-Park in Butuan City in
celebration of the 2014 Arbor Day. Director Ocampo said, the activity is in
support to the vision of the local government unit of Butuan City to become a
“Premier Forest City” by 2020 and the National Greening Program of DENR. (Gerie
