Persons with disabilities (PWDs) show off their talents during the PWD General Assembly at the Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, recently. The general assembly is part of the annual National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) week celebration. It is attended by PWD leaders all over the region. Leaders of the different persons with disability (PWD) organizations in Caraga serve as the panelist during a press conference in celebration of the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) week celebration. During the press conference, PWD leaders praised their respective local government units for its sincere assistance to PWDs, amidst clamor for the proper implementation of the laws on PWDs. PWD leaders expressed that despite shortcomings in the implementation of PWD laws, efforts are being done by their respective local government units to properly implement the law.
