In observance of National Disaster Consciousness
Month (NDCM) in July, different line government agencies are convening for the
fun walk as one of the highlights of activities for the month-long celebration.
This year’s celebration is anchored on the theme "Ligtas na Bayan, Maunlad
na Pamayanan" spearheaded by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Council (RDRRMC) led by Regional Director Blanche Gobenciong of the Office
of the Civil Defense (OCD) Caraga. (PIA-Caraga)
After the fun walk, employees from different
line agencies proceed to the Philippine Port Authority (PPA) area for the Hataw
exercise, as one of the lined-up activities in celebration of the National
Disaster Consciousness Month (NDCM) in July. (PIA-Caraga)

Carmencita Cochingco of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Caraga delivers
her message to the participants of the fun walk and Hataw exercise. She also
bares in her message that the activity is aimed to promote social welfare,
